View south east from the A1086 road bridge, north of Hartlepool, along the old route from Castle Eden junction that met the Durham coast line here; and which is now part of the Three Rivers National Cycle Route 14 between Haswell & Hartlepool. The former station of Hart (1873-1953) stood just south of where the lines met. The coast line can just be seen running through the footbridge before, above the tree to its right, it can be seen continuing forward of view towards the Headland on the northern edge of Hartlepool; where it will again turn south towards the town centre.
