Alresford (Essex)
A 12 coach Class 312 Clacton/Walton to Liverpool Street formation passes Alresford (Essex) on 21st November 1976. At the time, these 'outer suburban' units were fairly new to the line and a reasonable alternative to the well-liked Class 309 units, which were being released from duty for refurbishment.
