Alresford (Essex)
In 2016, members of the local community in Alresford, Essex were engaged in a campaign to save their historic station building from demolition by Abellio Greater Anglia. Part of that campaign involved making the premises look as attractive as possible to show the potential for renovation and community reuse. The building is shown here on 7th July 2016, along with a dedicated local resident tending flower beds added by volunteers.
