Angling Club Cottage
This location is now unrecognisable, the bridge having been demolished many years ago and the road realigned over to the left. The location is west of Clovenfords looking south-west along the A72 just before its junction with the A707 at The Nest (the River Tweed and Peel on its far bank are hidden by the trees). The No.16 on the bridge is not a railway bridge number but a card affixed by the photographer to facilitate identification of the locations portrayed on his glass plate negatives.
