The first of quite a few. Metrolink 3001 calls at Dane Road with an evening service from Altrincham to Cornbrook. Dane Rd opened in 1931 when the MSJ&A was electrified. The M5000 fleet of trams was steadily expanded from its introduction in 2009 until, with the final 2016 delivery, it numbers 120 sets.
