A pair of EE class 50 locomotives with train 1S57, the diverted down Royal Scot, heading north through Dumfries on Saturday 3 June 1972 during electrification work on the WCML. The large wooden sign on the old goods depot top left still reads Caledonian Railway Goods Station.
