On 7 March 2015 a railtour visited the Ormskirk branch from Preston. An 8 coach train with Class 37 locos at each end was quite a sight for a line that is used to one or two coach railcars and brought out many locals to see this unusual spectacle. The tour is seen here at Ulnes Walton returning to Preston with 37419 on the rear for this leg of the journey.
