A double tram runs across Smedley Viaduct on its way from Rochdale to East Didsbury on 20 April 2015. The trams are taking the chord up to Irk Valley Junction but the other bridge still carries tracks as the old Cheetham Hill line is used to access Queens Road Metrolink depot.
