Looking north over the site of the former Heriot station on 26 April 2015. View is towards Edinburgh with the A7 and its associated roadworks on the right. The station building has now been demolished, the platform remains have gone and the old level crossing link with the village is no more. Modern day pedestrian access is provided by a new DDA compliant underpass in the centre of the picture. Vehicle access from the A7 is via a new road with overbridge behind the camera.
