Eastleigh Shed
Locomotives awaiting disposal in the sidings at Eastleigh in September 1963. Centre stage is one of the five large Urie H16 Pacific tanks, no 30516, built for the LSWR in 1921/2. These so-called Green Tanks were used for hauling heavy cross-London transfer freights from Feltham yard. All five were withdrawn from Feltham shed in 1962 see image 41498.
