Stonehouse [Lanarkshire]

Not much remains of Stonehouse station after the route of the line was obliterated in 1993 during construction of the town bypass. This platform on the north side was provided when a new island platform was added on the opening of the Mid Lanark Lines in 1905. The platform was to be shortlived, closing with the re-signalling which ensued after closure of the Stonehouse to Canderside line in 1935.
