Earlston
This was the road between Earlston and Leaderfoot until it was re-routed on higher ground to the right on a better alignment - that alignment being the former Berwickshire Railway. See image 34068 for the same location as it was (note the distant treeline). The view is to the south. It's not often this site features a disused road!
