Plates, signs, notices etc
The front of this postcard-sized Edinburgh tram promo is blazoned 'Arriving 2011'. Infact they arrived in 2014 with a shortened route. That's not too bad going by my city's standards where it took decades to install escalators at Waverley and they have been talking about reopening the suburban circle since it closed in 1962. Note the more sensible name 'Shandwick Place', and that the current terminus at York Place was not on the plan see image 53413.
