Shenton

The southern terminus of the Battlefield Line Railway is at Shenton on the former LNWR & Midland Joint line between Coalville and Nuneaton. The station, seen here in March 2016, was closed by BR in 1968, but later resurrected by the heritage railway which takes it's name from the battle of Bosworth Field, the final battle of the Wars of the Roses.
