Table 123 of the London Midland 1964 timetable showing services on the short (1.25 mile) Blackrod to Horwich branch line. The footnote 'B' is a reminder of the triangular junction with the main line and that most Horwich services used the chord towards Bolton and missed Blackrod station. This was the last full year of operations as the branch closed in September 1965.
