Ordsall Junction
A Manchester Airport to Blackpool service with a pair of Class 156 DMUs crosses the River Irwell on the approach to Ordsall Jct in the afternoon of 4 June 2016. On the right is one of the worksites for the new Ordsall curve although the curve will be on the other side of the viaduct. Looking along the river beyond the first viaduct is an arch of the original L&M viaduct. Beyond that is the reflection of the Princes St girder bridge.
