Fountainhall
A northbound service from Tweedbank approaching out of the sun hurries past the site of Fountainhall station on 17 August 2016. The train is about to pass over the Network Rail access pad marking the approximate site of the former level crossing (the photograph was taken from the replacement overbridge). The old station building remains boarded up and gradually falling into a state of disrepair see image 6220.
