Woodacre Crossing
The last main line steam movement of 2016 saw Black 5s 44871 and 45407 run light from Carnforth to Bury on New Year's Eve. The previous day they had worked down from Fort William with empty coaching stock. The two locos are seen just south of the Woodacre footbridge running twenty minutes early.
