Kelvin Bridge
Ex-Caledonian 0-4-4T 55156 draws to a halt at Kelvin Bridge station on 14 September 1951. The city bound train has recently emerged from the tunnel that brought the Glasgow Central Railway below Great Western Road from Botanic Gardens. The road bridge carrying the A82 is on the right with Kelvinbridge Subway station just out of shot. For the platform view 54 years later see image 4695.
