Poulton-le-Fylde
Weekend pre-electrification work is continuing on the Blackpool line in 2017. At Poulton-le-Fylde the last remains of the extended island platform have been removed as has a semaphore signal and the long disused loop where coal trains for Fleetwood could wait until the branch had cleared. 156468 leads a four coach Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service approaching Poulton on 1st March 2017.
