Old Roan
The Merseyrail EMUs are to be replaced by a fleet on order from Stadler for delivery in 2019-2020. The Class 507/508s are basic but have served the area well for nearly forty years and hopefully at least one will be preserved. 507020 slows for the Old Roan stop with a service from Ormskirk to Liverpool Central on 7th February 2017.
