Kingswood Tunnel

68005 'Defiant' climbs towards Kingswood tunnel with Inverness - Mossend empty containers on 29th July 2014.  Earlier on the same date this loco had made the Class 68 debut on the Highland main line. David Spaven comments: the large majority of containers on the Inverness-Mossend service are actually loaded - typically with board products from the Norbord plant at Dalcross. Back-loading is critical for the rail economics, as indeed it is for road hauliers.
