Opened on the Perth and Dunkeld Railway.

Description

This is a single bore tunnel 330 yds long to the south east of Dunkeld station.

Rohallion, a short lived station, was to the west. Kingswood Crossing was to the east.

The tunnel bore was increased to allow container traffic.

Between Kingswood Tunnel and Dunkeld and Birnam station the line runs through Birnam Wood, of Shakespeare's MacBeth fame. (Dunsinane Hill is over 12 miles East South-East.)
