Horseshoe Viaduct

Caption by Colin McDonald. The West Highland Railway, c. 1960. This was taken by my brother Malcolm McDonald who now lives in Calgary, and he sent it to me last week when we were discussing my recent trip to Rannoch. He took it on a cycling holiday one Easter, in between driving hail storms. He can't remember the exact year, but suggested 1960, plus or minus 2 years. He thought there were two Stanier Black 5s pulling the train south. The train is on the slopes of Beinn Dorain, approaching the Horseshoe Curve and County March Summit.
