Crediton
The 13.43 service from Barnstaple to Exeter and Exmouth waits to cross the 13.53 from Exmouth at Crediton station and loop on 22 April 2017. The attractive station buildings have recently been repainted in London & South Western Railway colours. From here to Cowley Bridge Junction in Exeter the line is controlled by Track Circuit Block. Services on the Barnstaple branch seem to be predominantly operated by Pacers, and one is therefore thankful that - surprisingly - most of the route has been re-laid with CWR!
