Liverpool Lime Street
Platforms 8 and 9 at Lime Street in June 2017. Off to the left behind the partition, work has started to construct two new platforms – a mere 8 years or so after new buildings were erected in the former cab road area. The temporary Virgin first class lounge currently situated near the station entrance at least has a toilet, so Liverpool Virgin passengers are spared the inconvenience suffered by those waiting in the lounge at Glasgow Central.
