The 14.22 Brighton - Manchester Piccadilly Virgin CrossCountry service runs through platform 4 on the WLL side of West Brompton station in July 2005 as a District Line train on its way up the hill from Fulham Broadway approaches the adjacent London Underground platforms. The Voyager will call at Kensington Olympia on its way across west London. The chimneys in the background belong to Lots Road power station in Chelsea, which supplied electricity to the London Underground system until 2002.
