1907 map extract showing Bury town centre and the complex of lines that served the town. Knowsley St and Bolton St stations can be clearly seen along with the link that is now part of the ELR preserved line. The Goods Station to the north of Bolton St is Castlecroft, now Bury Transport Museum. The later Bury (Interchange) station, now used by Metrolink, is sited where the Market Hall is shown and the tramway passes through the site of Knowsley St at right angles then joins the east to south chord shown here.
