Scene at Waverley looking east from the cross-station walkway on 5 October 2017. The compound enclosing the works for the extended platforms 5 and 6 is now in place (complete with 'minder'). To the right is the rear end of the 1137 service to Milngavie standing alongside platform 11, while in the background, at the buffer stops beyond the east end of platform 10, is Serco Sleeper locomotive 92010.
