Yarm on Tees

The most northerly section, across the River Tees, of the 650m Yarm Viaduct is built in stone compared to brick for the rest of the structure. A large plaque is sited above the centre pier detailing the names of the design engineers, the superintendent of works, and the contractors responsible for building the structure.
