Easter Road Junction

The Crawford footbridge, where I'm standing, plays a supporting role in the
1951 Edinburgh short *The Singing Street* (See 3 minutes 50 seconds of the NLS Moving Image Archive). In those days there were eight tracks under it; now there is but one, and that is disused. I'm looking towards Easter Road station site and the curve to Abbeyhill and Waverley was to the left. Note the surviving buffer from a headshunt. This was for the St Andrew Steel Works of Redpath Brown Ltd.
