I am standing on the road bridge which replaced the rail bridge carrying the Leith Central branch over the Granton line. The view looks west along what was latterly the Powderhall branch, closed a few years ago, and Easter Road Junction was in the distance. There is evidently no hurry to turn this old line into a cycleway.
