Croston
A new structure appeared on the disused former northbound platform during the second half of 2017, a greenhouse. Donated by a village resident to the Friends of Croston Station volunteers who maintain the flowerbeds and vegetable patch. Trains on the Ormskirk line will move from a ninety minute interval to an hourly service from May 2018.
