Croston
With major engineering work again taking place at Liverpool Lime Street, until 29 July, Northern are again operating Sunday trains between Preston and Ormskirk to connect with Merseyrail services into Liverpool city centre. on 03 June 2018 a service to Ormskirk departs from Croston passing the greenhouse and vegetable garden on the disused platform which is maintained by station volunteers.
