Barkston South Junction
DB 67030 heads north light engine along the ECML on 26th January 2018. The locomotive has just passed the former Barkston South Junction, where the chord to the Skegness line branched off until 2005. It is just about to cross the Skegness to Nottingham line on the bridge shown. Trains from Skegness to Grantham now also run this way using the new Allington Chord. [Ref query 31 January 2018]
