South Gyle
A southbound Intercity 125 has just passed below the A8 overbridge approaching South Gyle Station in December 1991. In the foreground is the site of the car park for the new Gyle Centre, still a green field except for a specially-engineered trial embankment of red blaes (covered in snow). In the background is the Royal Scot Hotel now the site of a retail store. [Ref query 4 April 2018]
