Remains of the wooden platform at Jedfoot station in February 2018, seen from the site of the level crossing looking north towards Roxburgh. The goods yard and goods platform were located on the east side of the station see image 20135. Opened in 1856 as Jedfoot Bridge, the name change took place in 1913. Passenger services between Jedburgh and Roxburgh were withdrawn in 1948, although the branch remained open for goods traffic until 1966. [Ref query 24 February 2018]
