Kames Gunpowder Works
This low embankment carried a section of the Kames Gunpowder Works horse tramway alongside the Craignafeoch Burn in the Lower Mills area. The metal bridge pillars and abutment mark the point where a spur crossed the water at right angles, presumably accessed by a small turntable, while the main line carried on following the curve of the watercourse. 6th April 2018.
