Long lens view over the east end of Waverley station on 19 April 2018. The mid-morning scene shows the old track serving the short bays has been lifted and construction is now underway on the new platforms 5 and 6. Just visible peeking out from behind the south wall is the rear of the 1052 Pendolino for London Euston.
