Blackpool North had all wires and gantries in place by April 2018 but only limited diesel services until the May timetable change. Most trains on the line at this time were ECS driver training movements. In this view from the nearby Sainsburys Platform 1, which will be for Pendolinos in due course, is being used to accommodate electrification plant
