Lytham Old Junction
Looking east towards Kirkham North Junction a Northern Class 319 heads to Blackpool North on 08 June 2018. This was the site of Lytham Old Jct where a line swung right (west to south) to connect with the line to Lytham and Blackpool South Shore. To the right of the dirt track, the remains of the line to Blackpool Central part of which latterly served Kirkham and Wesham Tip for the civil engineers. Some rails and sleepers are still in place although disconnected from the main line at Kirkham North Jct.
