At the foot of the Castle Rock one of the hourly electric services to Glasgow Queen Street is about to enter Haymarket South Tunnel. The (slightly restricted) view is from St Cuthbert's churchyard. As an Edinburgensian I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I've only just discovered that this view is possible.
