Morningside Road
The former ticket office at Morningside Road, looking good 56 years after closure. With the sun in the right place the lettering MORNINGSIDE ROAD STATION can be made out beneath the names of the current occupiers, the enamel sign having been painted over. The station is right in the heart of this douce suburb, so why 'Road' was added is a mystery. For a view down the steps to the platform from the gate on the right see image 7593.
