Markinch
A 4-car 158 calls at Markinch on 10 October 2018 with a Perth to Edinburgh service. The signage announcing this as the stop for Glenrothes went when Glenrothes with Thornton station opened. Markinch is however nearer the centre of the town and has better bus links, particularly since the transport hub opened.
