Gorgie East
For many years all that there has been to see of this former Suburban Circle station is the remnants of this path from the inner platform to Slateford Road. The 'East' suffix - with or without apologetic brackets – was added in BR days. It's not clear why as there was never any other passenger station called Gorgie and if anything it's south rather than east.
