Parkhead North Goods
The wide and overgrown deck of the bridge carrying the CGU route between Haghill and Parkhead Junctions in April 2009. View is south east towards the latter, with the site of Parkhead North goods depot ahead and to the right. The original 1875 double track bridge appears to have been modified in 1903 to carry four tracks, although in fact only ever carried three. The line was eventually closed in 1981. See image 23191
