Hornby
The partly blocked off cutting on the right carried the former Wennington to Lancaster Green Ayre line just west of Hornby station. The line crossed the A683 on a bridge but, after the 1966 closure, that was removed and the road realigned. This view looks north along the A683 on 20th February 2019 with Hornby village and its distinctive castle visible in the middle distance.
