Metropolitan Locomotive no. 1 passing the LUL's Goldhawk Road station on its way from Hammersmith to Moorgate during the 150th Anniversary of this section of the Underground between Paddington and Hammersmith, now part of the Hammersmith & City Line, on 9th August 2014. Seven of these E Class 0-4-4T locomotives were built between 1896 and 1901, three at the Metropolitan Railway's Neasden works, the others at Hawthorn Leslie & Co. in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
