Sighthill East Junction [1st]
The long single carriageway tunnel which takes Darnick Street under the railway from Spingburn to Cumbernauld is quite intimidating for pedestrians even in the middle of a busy working day. Overhead to the west (left) is the junction for the line leading to Glasgow Works which at the time of writing (March 2019) is scheduled to close.
