Carlisle
The 1.35pm Blackpool North - Glasgow Central, via Kilmarnock and Paisley Gilmour Street, awaits its departure time at Carlisle platform 1 in September 1967. In charge is Britannia Pacific no 70024 Vulcan. The locomotive had less than 3 months of operational service remaining and was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed in late December that year.
